My Life with Liberace is based on Scott Thorson’s autobiographical
novel about his secret relationship with the world-famous
pianist Liberace. Long before Elvis, Elton John, Madonna and
Lady Gaga, there was Liberace: a virtuoso pianist, outrageous

style and spectacular stage performances made him a world-renowned

Liberace lived a debauched lifestyle and embraced excess, both on and

Scott Thorson walked into his dressing room and, notwithstanding the dissimilarities
and age differences, it was the beginning of a secret love
